I started to learn many things from this book during the second half of 2011.
Scomdex – an IT expo in Surabaya. Factually, nothing new in this event, (imho) only Hi-Tech Mall moves it’s vendors to Jatim Expo for 9 days.

Free meals for me and Vicky! We went home from Malay Village with full stomachs and SD card full of food photography. Happy.
People can easily find various kind of dishes made of chicken or duck here in Indonesia. But turkey is something new for me. I was lucky to found a restaurant serving turkey in Surabaya. And even more Luckier Vicky and I have a buy one get one free voucher at the restaurant.
Kerak telor is a Betawi traditional spicy omelette dish in Indonesian cuisine. It is made from glutinous rice cooked with egg and served with serundeng (fried shredded coconut), fried shallots and dried shrimp topping.

Ok, that’s all for 2011. In 2010, I shot picture as many as possible. Then in 2011 I switched from rambo style of photo shooting to sniper. My plan for 2012 is “point of interest” – to isolate the photo subject from noisy background and surrounding.
The interesting point for me is, almost 50% of these photos taken while I was there
Oh wow, I need to shoot something else this year…
