People can easily find various kind of dishes made of chicken or duck here in Indonesia. But turkey is something new for me. I was lucky to found a restaurant serving turkey in Surabaya. And even more Luckier Vicky and I have a buy one get one free voucher at the restaurant.

Kerak telor is a Betawi traditional spicy omelette dish in Indonesian cuisine. It is made from glutinous rice cooked with egg and served with serundeng (fried shredded coconut), fried shallots and dried shrimp topping.

Ok, that’s all for 2011. In 2010, I shot picture as many as possible. Then in 2011 I switched from rambo style of photo shooting to sniper. My plan for 2012 is “point of interest” – to isolate the photo subject from noisy background and surrounding.

Lebaran adalah…

1. Waktunya pake baju baru,

2. Waktunya ngumpulin uang kertas yg masih bagus2 dari om2 dan tante2,

3. Waktunya segala makanan dan minuman yg enak2 pada bermunculan,

4. Dan waktunya kumpul sama sodara2 dan main terus sampek capek.

Ah, dunia anak2 memang menyenangkan banget ya…

Serambi timur Masjid Nasional Al-Akbar Surabaya, tanggal 29 Agustus 2011, dini hari.

Selain bagi2 takjil dan makanan buat buka bersama, Masjid Nasional Al-Akbar Surabaya juga bagi2 makanan buat sahur setiap hari selama bulan Ramadan.

Orang2 itu nampak senang dapat makan gratisan.

Tapi yg nggak nampak, ada orang2 lain yg lebih senang bisa ikut membagi makanan pada mereka.

Nggak cuman anak2 sekolahan yg ikut kontes tari Yosakoi ini, om-om dan tante-tante pun nggak kalah enerjik

Festival ini pun jadi ajang percampuran budaya Jepang dengan Indonesia.

Dan nggak cuman Jepang dan Indonesia, salah satu tim kontestan malah menampilkan banteng bergaya Barongsai.

Penonton jadi fotografer amatir, dan blogger jadi jurnalis independen.
